History

Winegro was established in 2007 with its main purpose to market and distribute international wine brands. We have formed strategic alliances with Matuba, Kleinbosch and Jabulani in terms of which their brands will be distributed by Winegro throughout South Africa.
The company has also formed a strategic alliance with Wellington Cellar, whose production facilities will be utilized to make the best wine from this area.

Winegro is owned by Strategy Partners and Johann Pieterse, former CEO of Teljoy, is the CEO of the company. He is assisted by Coenraad Pieterse and Johan Pietersen.
